General

Chrissy Silva confirms she is self-employed, is responsible for her own income tax and will carry out services as set out and agreed with the Client via email which will serve as an informal contract.
Errors should be notified to Chrissy Silva within 48 hours of receipt of completed work. All errors notified within this time frame will be rectified free of charge. After 48 hours Chrissy Silva will deem the work as complete and error-free. Any additional amendments after completing a project will be charged at the hourly rate of £75ph.
Work carried out by Chrissy Silva will be the legal property of the Client. Chrissy Silva does not accept any responsibility for how the work is used by the Client.

Office hours:

Core working hours are Monday-Friday, 10am to 6pm.
Any communication outside of these hours will be dealt with on the next working day.

Communication:

Email is to be the primary form of communication between the client and Chrissy Silva.
Calls and meetings will need to be booked in advance.

Billing:

Website design services are secured with a 100% or 30% deposit upon agreement to secure the project time in my calendar, with any remaining balance invoiced upon completion. If work is to start immediately then full payment must be paid in advance. If during the term of a project, additional tasks are requested by the client, Chrissy Silva may re-negotiate the fee and/or the deadline.
All invoices are to be paid within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
Unpaid invoices with incur interest of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate as per government guidelines. No work will be carried out until an invoice has been paid in full.

Termination:

This agreement can be terminated with a notice period of no less than two weeks.
Notice of termination must be provided in writing via email and acknowledged by Chrissy Silva by return.
Should a project be cancelled, postponed or delayed through any fault of the client, Chrissy Silva shall be entitled to keep the deposit for project work. Should any works be cancelled, postponed or delayed through any fault of Chrissy Silva, she will provide the client with a partial or total refund.
Both Chrissy Silva and the client have the right to terminate this agreement immediately upon breach of these terms.

GDPR compliance:

All efforts will be made by Chrissy Silva to ensure the security and safety of any data provided by the client.
Any data provided by the Client will only be used for its intended purpose.
Chrissy Silva is registered as Data Protection Officer with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under reference: ZA469396
Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, the Client and Chrissy Silva may keep on record such information (e.g. contact details, company address) as is necessary. Either may view the other's records to ensure that they are relevant, correct and up to date.
This agreement is subject to the laws of England and Wales.

Confidentiality:

All information provided by the client will be kept under the strictest of confidence and will not be shared with any third parties unless agreed to by the Client.
Chrissy Silva reserves the right to display all aspects of her web design work on her website portfolio, blog, newsletters and social media.
